DELIVERY & RETURNS
A lot of care goes into the safe packaging and dispatch of my artworks.
Please note that although my online shop is currently set up for UK sales only, international sales are still possible by special arrangement. If you are from outside the UK and see something you're interested in, please contact me and I will do a custom quote for international shipping. DISPATCH TIMES & POSTAGE COSTS
All artworks are dispatched from Kington, Herefordshire UK by Royal Mail 1st class (tracked) or ParcelForce within 1-3 working days of the order being received. At busy times it may take a little longer, but in such cases you will be informed. If you have a specific deadline to meet, please get in touch prior to ordering in order to discuss.
Packing and shipping costs £3.95 within the UK and requires a signature on delivery.
I cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by issues beyond my control (for example industrial action & natural disasters). Your order will come with a tracking number to follow its progress, but where there is a substantial delay please get in touch and I will do my best to resolve the issue.
PO BOXES
I am unable to accept orders requiring delivery to any ‘PO Boxes’ including APO FPO BFPO DPO. Any orders placed with a PO Box as a delivery address will be cancelled.
SELLING OUTSIDE THE UK
I'm currently selling within the UK only, but items can be purchased from abroad by special arrangement. Contact me and I will do a custom quote for the cost of international shipping. Get in touch at mirmawalker@yahoo.com or use the Contact form. Where items are sold abroad the buyer is responsible for any customs charges incurred on arrival in the destination country. I cannot refund any additional charges you may have to pay when your item arrives.
PACKAGING
The artworks are made with love and attention and the same level of care is used for their safe packaging. All artworks are packed according to the size and type of artwork, and I make sure that they all leave in the condition I would expect them to arrive. Artworks smaller than A3 will be packed flat inside a cellophane sleeve and placed between stiff boards so they are well protected. Artworks without mounts are additionally packaged with a sheet of acid-free glassine paper to protect the artwork surface. If ordering more than one artwork, where safe to do so, they will be packaged and sent together. The protective glassine, cellophane and boards are recyclable. Paintings and drawings will also be packed flat.
Lino prints larger than A3 will be carefully packaged in a robust cardboard tube, unless you specifically request an alternative form of packaging, prior to purchase.
I try to keep plastic use to a minimum and the vast majority of my packaging is recycled and/or recyclable. You can find out more about materials used in FAQ section.
RETURNS
If your new artwork is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.
To start a return, please contact me at mirmawalker@yahoo.com. Once the return is agreed, you'll be sent instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
You are responsible for the safe packing and return delivery using the same/similar tracked service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned, I will refund your payment to the original payment method within 7 days - it can take a few days to show up. In the first instance please contact me to discuss any issues.
None of the above will affect your statutory rights.

WHAT IF MY ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED?
All artwork is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph including the original packaging materials. This is necessary to process claims against the postal carrier. You may be required to return the item at your cost, but this will in turn be refunded along with the cost of the original item once received and checked.

UNWRAPPING AND HANDLING A NEW ARTWORK
I would recommend having original artworks unpacked and framed by a professional framer to avoid any damage at the unpacking stage. To return to their original flat state, rolled lino prints will need a day or so weighted down prior to framing. I cannot be held responsible for damage/marks/creases incurred during unwrapping or careless handling of artworks. Care should be taken to store and display artworks out of direct sunlight and away from sources of direct heat such as radiators.
